All fares at a glance

The RadCard fare is essentially a flat fare: For only 48 € per year you get the first 30 minutes of each ride free, across the whole of Germany! Minimum running period is 12 months. This fare is recommended for those users that ride more than four times a month with sz-bike or nextbike.

For occasional riders there is the regular fare: 1 € per 30 minutes and 9 € for 24 hours.

Customer card for the on-board computer

Rental and return using the on-board computer is only possible with the customer card. It can be ordered additionally for a 2 € protection fee. In other cities, e.g. Nuremberg or Dortmund, you can also use this card during rentals at electronic terminals available at the stations.

Registration is free

You need to activate your payment method in your customer account prior to the first cost-incurring ride. Verification of payment details is done by booking/transferring 9 €. This amount will be logged as your starting credit and can be used in all fares. You can change the payment method at any time. Available: direct debit or credit card.

Special conditions for SZ and DVB subscribers

SZ and DVB subscribers receive the RadCard fare for free. This means that they do not pay the monthly fee and get the first 30 minutes of every ride free. Simply enter the subscription number of one of the partners during the registration. Linking is done automatically; you don’t need to book the RadCard fare again.
