Signed up once you can use all nextbike affiliated bike sharing schemes in more than 200 cities worldwide.
2. Rent & return
Rent a bike
Rent a bike easily via app: scan the QR-code or enter the bike number. The frame lock opens automatically, so never rent bikes from afar. You can also rent bikes by calling our hotline: . You can use a single account to rent up to four bikes at once.
Park a bike
You can park your bike without stopping the rental. Activate the park mode in your app and close the lock afterwards. Simply deactivate it again to continue your ride. The lock opens automatically. Therefore do not deactivate the park mode from afar.
Return a bike
Return your bike at any public street or junction within the flex zone or at an official station. Close the lock by pressing down the lever. Refresh your app to make sure the rental has been stopped. Check the map for information about the flex zone areas and stations.
Verify your account
Upon confirming your payment method, you will be charged 1€. This 1€ is your starting credit, you can use it for your first ride.
After debit via credit card or verified Paypal account your customer account will be activated immediately. Debitting via credit transfer may take up to four days. You can change your means of payment anytime.
